# Managing Memory

Orvyn remembers your preferences so you don't have to repeat yourself every time.

## Saving Memories

Tell Orvyn to remember something using phrases like "Remember that I prefer..." or "Always use..." and it saves that preference.

**Example:** Say "Remember that I always want revenue numbers in blue," and Orvyn uses blue for revenue numbers in every conversation without you asking again.

**What gets remembered:**

* **Preferences:** Colors, fonts, or styles you prefer
* **Workflows:** How you structure your work
* **Facts:** Important details about your role or industry

## Updating Memories

Your preferences change over time. Tell Orvyn which memory to update and what the new preference should be.

**Examples:**

* "Update my memory to use red for negative changes instead of blue"
* "Change my preference for revenue numbers to be bold instead of italic"

## Deleting Memories

Remove memories you no longer need by telling Orvyn to forget them.

**Examples:**

* "Delete my memory about using green for growth numbers"
* "Forget my preference for Arial font"

**Common reasons to delete:**

* The preference was temporary
* You saved something by mistake
* Information became outdated
